Beauty has always been a tool of self-expression for me but its also been a topic that I find crosses all cultural borders — something that I can truly discuss with a woman I’ve never met for hours on end.
Â
There’s something special about that connection we have with our own regimens and beauty routines, something that makes it worth discussing for hours and it’s the reason I started this podcast.
Â
I hope the conversations you hear on this panel:
1) Inspire you to examine your own preconceived notions of beauty
Â
2) Realize that our self-presentation changes and evolves overtime
Â
3) Take solace in the fact none of us have it figured out
Â
4) Motivate you to try something new — even if the results are disastrous
Â
5) Make you laugh or cry or think more deeply. At the end of the hour or so with me and my guest, I’d love for you to feel like you’ve spent a great time with close friends, who leave nothing on the table and bring their fully realized, beautiful selves.
